Build your own Aston Martin - the Rapide
The Rapide is the most recent Aston Martin model. This has been an ongoing project, with new 3D content being integrated into the configurator, as Aston update their cars and add new models.
It's always a little bit of a shock coming back to this project after a hiatus. When I'm in the thick of it, I'm concentrating on things like the clarity of the seat logos, and whether the back seats fold down correctly, and how to position the model so users can properly appreciate the back seats folding, and what lightmaps to use, and why the boot interior won't load, and does anyone have a photograph of the aston engine which we can use as a texture map, and how best to integrate more trigger points for opening the doors, and can anyone at Aston tell us what the new wheels look like etc. etc.
But when I finally step back and look the project as a whole, it's always "Damn, these are such pretty cars."
